Boulders & Brothers: Moab • Nov 12–16, 2026

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and XFACTR Adventures for Boulders & Brothers: Moab, an off-road Christian men's retreat held November 12–16, 2026 near Moab, Utah. By paying for your registration, you accept these terms. Please read section 3 carefully — it explains what is and is not refundable.

Section 01What you are registering for

Four nights of lodging, guided off-road trail days, and evening gatherings, running from Thursday, November 12 through Monday, November 16, 2026.

Included in your cost

  • Lodging for four nights — your own bed in a shared room
  • Off-road vehicle rentals
  • All guided trail days
  • Breakfasts, dinners, and packed trail lunches

Not included

  • Travel to and from Moab
  • Trip insurance
  • The Utah OHV Education Course (free, but required — see section 7)
  • Personal gear, clothing, and medications

Trails, daily schedule, vehicles, and lodging arrangements may change. Trail selection and the decision to turn back rest entirely with the trail lead, whose judgment is final. Changes of this kind do not entitle you to a refund.

Section 02Who may register

  • Men aged 22 or older.
  • Our faith is the backbone of this trip. We believe Jesus is the Son of God, both fully man and fully God, and the only way of salvation. We are looking for men who believe the same.
  • No off-road experience is required. First-timers are welcome.

This is a retreat, not counseling or crisis care. If you are in a personal crisis or need immediate help, please seek support from a qualified professional. You will be in a better place for a future trip.

Section 03Price and payment

Total cost$1,200 per person
When it is dueIn full, at registration
Non-refundable portion$500 — from the moment you pay
Refundable portion$700 — if you cancel by Nov 4, 2026

The full $1,200 is due when you register, and paying it reserves your spot. Spots are limited and are held in the order payments are received.

$500 of your payment is non-refundable from the moment you pay. That money goes straight into holding the house, the vehicles, and your place in a small group.

The remaining $700 is refundable if you cancel on or before November 4, 2026 — the last date we can release lodging without penalty. Section 4 sets out exactly how that works.

There is no second payment and no automatic charge. We will never charge your card again without asking you first.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Men who registered under the earlier arrangement — a $500 deposit followed by a $700 balance — keep the terms they agreed to at the time. This revision does not change them. If you are not sure which applies to you, email info@bouldersandbrothers.com and we will tell you.

Section 04If you cancel

You may cancel at any time by emailing info@bouldersandbrothers.com. Cancellation is effective when Dave confirms he has received your email.

  • On or before November 4, 2026: we refund $700. The $500 non-refundable portion is forfeited.
  • After November 4, 2026: the full $1,200 is non-refundable, because lodging and vehicles are committed and paid for by then. If we manage to fill your spot before the trip, we will refund the $700. The $500 stays non-refundable in every case.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually take five to ten business days to appear.

There are no refunds or partial credits for arriving late, leaving early, missing a trail day, or any unused portion of the retreat.

Your spot is personal to you and cannot be transferred or sold to another man without our written agreement.

Section 05If we cancel

If XFACTR Adventures cancels the retreat for any reason — lodging falling through, permit problems, weather, or a safety decision — you receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the $500 non-refundable portion.

That refund is the full extent of our responsibility to you. We are not responsible for any other costs you have incurred, including airfare, rental cars, hotels, time off work, or gear purchases. This is why we strongly recommend buying trip insurance.

Section 06Assumption of risk

Off-road driving on Moab's trails is inherently dangerous. Risks include, but are not limited to, vehicle rollover, collision, mechanical failure, falls, serious injury, permanent disability, and death, as well as damage to your property.

The trails are remote. Cell coverage is limited or absent in places, and emergency medical response can be significantly delayed. You may be far from a hospital.

You are choosing to take part voluntarily, and you accept these risks. You are responsible for your own medical, rescue, and evacuation costs. We strongly recommend carrying both medical insurance and travel insurance that covers off-road recreation.

A separate liability waiver and release must be signed before you take part. Dave will send it to you after you register. Signing it is required — you cannot drive or ride without it on file.

Section 07What you must complete before you arrive

  • Utah OHV Education Course — required for every driver. It is free and completed online. Bring your completion card. recreation.utah.gov/ohv-education
  • A valid driver's license, if you intend to drive.
  • Your signed liability waiver and release, returned to Dave.
  • Tell Dave in advance about food allergies, dietary restrictions, and any medical condition or medication that could matter in a remote setting.

We cannot let you drive or ride without the OHV card and the signed waiver. No refund is given if you arrive without them.

Section 08Vehicles

You will ride in rented off-road vehicles or in a leader's personal vehicle. Drivers of rented vehicles will sign the rental company's own agreement on arrival and are bound by its terms, including its damage and insurance provisions.

Drive only when the trail lead has authorized you to, and follow his instructions on the trail at all times. You are personally responsible for damage you cause by operating a vehicle outside those instructions, by using it in a way the rental agreement prohibits, or while impaired.

Section 09Conduct

  • No alcohol and no smoking at any point during the retreat, at the house or on the trail.
  • No illegal drugs, and no firearms except as agreed with the leaders in advance.
  • What men share around the campfire stays among the men there. Nothing shared is repeated outside the group.
  • Nothing in the evening gatherings is mandatory. Come ready to listen and share when you are comfortable.

The leaders may remove any man whose conduct is unsafe, dishonest, or seriously disruptive to the group. If that happens, no refund is given and you are responsible for arranging and paying for your own travel home.

Section 10Photos and video

We take photographs and video during the retreat and may use them to promote future retreats. If you would rather not appear in anything we publish, tell Dave in writing before the trip and we will honor it.

Out of respect for the men around you, do not publish photos, video, or accounts of what other men share during the evening gatherings.

Section 11Your information

We collect your name, contact details, emergency contact, and any dietary or medical information you give us, and we use it only to run this retreat safely. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your information to anyone.

Section 12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change affects your price, your payment dates, or your cancellation rights, we will email every registered man directly before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

Section 13Questions

Ask before you pay if anything here is unclear. Dave answers registration, payment, and logistics questions.
